User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_1) AppleWebKit/534.48.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Safari/534.48.3 Steps to reproduce: I created a few smart folders for tagged messages. The tags come from an IMAP account I share with my employees, so that anyone can see his own assignments. Actual results: While the smart folder correctly displays the messages, the wordcount displayed through the add-on Extra Folders column and QuickFolders, is wrong, i.e. it's not updated. Say, 15 is displayed and after clicking the smart folder, the real one (7, for instance), is shown. Expected results: The correct wordcount should be displayed: both add-on add a very useful feature, i.e. display the number of messages, but there's a bug in Thunderbird here.
So you are saying that the add-ons do not work properly right ?
Sorry, I lost the comment somewhere. You can see two screenshots I took a few minutes ago, which display the problem. The issue is related to messages which are tagged by my employees and sent to the imap account: they are not properly counted. If it's only me who tags the messages, the count is OK for me (but not for them, conversely).
So you should contact the etxension author as the bug is his and not a Core Thunderbird bug.
