On my mac mini, i am unable to update to a current firefox release from 4.0.1.  Firefox updates says an updated is 27Mb patch is being downloaded, but after triggering restart, there is no updates to Firefox current.

Error Console shows:

While creating services from category 'profile-after-change', could not create service for entry 'nsUpdateServiceStub', contract ID '@mozilla.org/updates/update-service-stub;1'

Repro:
1) install Firefox 4.0.1 on mac: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1
2) About Firefox > Updates ... Apply Update
3) Verify after restart, firefox is still 4.0.1

Expected:
- update patch applies and should be current Firefox in the market (eg. Firefox 6)
Actual:
- restarted after patch, but no update has been applied.
