Steps to reproduce:

After bug 671553 and Bug 580194 landed, neither bugs provided Inverted icons for the Close Buttons(Add-on Bar, Find Bar and [class=".tabs-closebutton"] on Tab Bar, History and Bookmark Sidebars) when using mildly dark backgrounds (personas, glass, third-party OS themes).

I think this is much better nowadays, so going to close as WFM. If there are still issues with close button visibility, please file a new report with specific details on how to reproduce it with a current version of Firefox.
