Steps to reproduce:

After an update I opened thunderbird.


Actual results:

The "Welcome to Thunderbird - What's New" tab appeared. Instead of having the thunderbird icon, the tab had the firefox icon


Expected results:

The tab should have had the thunderbird icon, not the firefox icon.

Does the icon remain after restart of Thunderbird? Are you using any non-defalt theme installed in Thunderbird? Can you try Thunderbird 7?

The icon did remain after a restart. The update to 7.0 from 6.0.2 seems to have solved this problem. I was using a non-default theme.

That's because we are loading the favicon of mozilla.org and it's a ff icon.

Well now we show favicons so we show what the webpage we load says.

Can you please confirm this? Can you attach a screenshot with Thunderbird 7 where the icon is fixed?
