User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0 Build ID: 20110811165603 Steps to reproduce: I chose in TB settings/extended/read & view/ open message by double click in: [ ] new tab [x] new window [ ] existing window Actual results: has no influence, always opens in tab Expected results: follow the settings and open double clicked message in new window. - right mouse click > "open in new window" works well - my last resort. This concerns TB 6.0.2

It concerns Thunderbird/7.0.X on Mac OS X 10.6.8 recent update to TB 7.0.1 didn't change anything.
