Once databse changes for version 2.2.3 are deployed, adding final betas to the list of products will be handled correctly by the update_product_versions cron job.  As such, the update_final_betas cron job is no longer needed and should be removed.

As a precaution, the 2.2.3 deployment scripts will disable this cron job from the database side.

This actually did go out with 2.2.3 (just checked the v2.2.3 tag), I forgot to mark resolved. Sorry about that!
