Looks like you have two issues which should probably be two separate bugs. Please post the crash report IDs from about crashes.

Summary: Please make a stable version, which will support all add ons → Crashes with many tabs, or when downloading PDF or video from web
I can confirm that having over 120-140 Tabs open (using TM+) will crash FF "Release" but if the exact same saved Session is opened in Aurora or Nightly you are free to open another 100 more Tabs without issue (except for a bit of a slowdown).
Aurora and Nightly seem to use Memory differently than 6.0.2 does. Is the "Release" version compiled with a smaller Stack or a different (compacted Variables) Memory alignment (thus finding pointer overflow) on WinXP ?
I have a Crash Report and WinDbg Log for 9.0a1, see Bug 686271 .
