Steps to reproduce:

when I try to paste a copied item (system not responding)same thing when trying to use dictionary, and when opening a new tab, and when .... to many to list.
Prblem started with 6 and has continued....am now forced to use IE..much to frustrating in fox anymore.


Actual results:

SYSTEM NOT RESPONDING!   FREEZES EVERYTHING.   END PROCESS and reload fox.


Expected results:

certainly not what is descibed...

I can't reproduce your problem.
Okay by DISABLING  ADDONS in safe mode problem has gone away.  Came back to regular /normal mode went in and eliminated all but 3 addons and the problem has not re appeared.

Resolving INVALID since this isn't a Firefox bug (as per comment 2). Bob, if you can identify which add-on(s) are causing this issue, we could try to get in touch with the developer.

The first addon that I activated brought the problem on again.it is 
   OBERON COM ADAPTER 1.0.0.7  npapicomadapter

I cannot see this add-on on AMO. Where did you get it from?
I don't know where it came from...  that one may have contributed to the problem  it is not the sole issue as the computer has frozen since Friday.. have disabled all addons again and am working back through them one at a time.  will keep u posted when if figure out who has created the problem.
