User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2011090819 Camino/2.0.8 (MultiLang) (like Firefox/3.0.19) Build ID: 2011090819 Steps to reproduce: Signed in to Gmail account. Actual results: I get the following message: You are using an old version of Firefox which Gmail no longer supports. Some features may not work correctly. Expected results: I am using the latest version of Camino. I have no idea what Google does not like, but it would seem like since the latest version of Firefox is supposedly okay, Camino should be, too.
Google had announced for a while that they would progressively drop support for Gecko 1.9.0 (the rendering engine behind Camino 2.0.x and Firefox 3.0.x). The soon-to-be-released Camino 2.1 uses an updated version of the Gecko rendering engine, and is fully supported by Gmail. As far as I can tell, everything still works correctly with Camino 2.0.8, though. If the message bothers you, consider upgrading to Camino 2.1b2: http://preview.caminobrowser.org/
WORKSFORME with the "real" latest Camino, unless someone thinks a different resolution is more appropriate.
