See the screenshot.  Note the difference in the "i" letter rendering in "Kailas" and "Details".
I don't think there's much we can do about this (except perhaps suggest modifications to the default styles on b.m.o!)..... with this particular font and size, Quartz doesn't do a very good job of rasterizing the "i", and it's almost impossible to see any separation between the dot and the stem. If you try Verdana Regular, size 10, in TextEdit.app (for example) I think you'll see similar results. Even with black text on a white background, it's hardly any better.
It seems to be the 10pt size that's particularly bad; experimenting in TextEdit, both 9pt and 11pt are MUCH better. Even fractionally-different sizes like 9.8 or 10.2 are clearer than 10.0pt, at least w.r.t. the "i" glyph!
