I can connect via ssh and VNC to talos-r3-w7-033, but the session gets closed almost immediately as the machine reboots repeatedly. We should pull this machine and see what's going wrong with it.

Seems about as good as Win7 hosts ever do via VNC, so I've locked it onto the preproduction tests master for a quick validation.

Perhaps an old copy of runslave.py due a stale ref image ?

It did have that problem, so I pulled in the current tip
hg.mozilla.org/build/puppet-manifests/raw-file/246779e2c6ce/modules/buildslave/files/runslave.py

It can grab a buildbot.tac from slavealloc, but fails to launch it because of
  exceptions.ImportError: No module named buildslave.bot

So stale buildbot install ? Why is the ref image so out of date ? *gives up*

reinstalled biuldbot as per https://wiki.mozilla.org/ReferencePlatforms/Test/Win7#Install_Buildbot

set trust level to 'dev' and environment to 'dev/pp' and rebooted.

I've modified the slave to connect to production as it can't connect to preproduction as it is not in staging_config.py.

I will have a look at the slave at how it fairs.
