I forked the Github repo and when following the steps in the README and then running Mutt I get 5 errors. I have put the output attached.

Works fine on my box. Looks like those errors/failures are related to your environment. The libiniparser library seems to be broken and doesn't have any entry:
ld: in iniparser/libiniparser.a, archive has no table of contents
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [proclaunch] Error 1

All I can really say is that I can't reproduce on linux
This is a local issue. For some reason the build step to generate the proclaunch utility failed on david's computer. Not sure why, it works fine on many other macs we tested. David if you come up with a reason why and it's something we can fix then feel free to reopen, but since this seems like a local issue, marking as invalid.
