would be nice to have some visibility on the front page of qmo in the form of an icon added to the current 4. that icon should represent Thunderbird and link to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing.

Al , sorry can't remember the name of the designer you told me to add on the cc list.

Adding Craig, who does most of our dev work.

The icons on the QMO home page represent teams on the site (and hence teams in Mozilla QA). Each one is a group on QMO, with its own membership and forums, etc, so the icons shouldn't link off-site to a wiki page.
Creating a Thunderbird team on QMO is technically trivial, and I can draw an icon easily enough. So it's really an organizational issue, not so much a design/development issue. Do we want to create a Thunderbird team on the same level as the others? Does that fit into the overall Mozilla QA organization?

It does fit. They use the site as well to some extent and would use it more if they had their own group there.

Ok, I'll whip up a sketchy logo and we can create the new team. It'll require a minor code push since we're adding back a fifth icon, so we just need to adjust the size and spacing to make room. We can push some plug-in updates while we're at it. So let's shoot for next Tuesday the 20th?

Sounds good to me.

I'd be very happy with that date too.

The code updates are in github so we're ready to go whenever IT wants to push to prod.

I don't see it on the dev server and it has been a couple of hours.

It looks like quality-dev.allizom.org doesn't automatically pull updates from Github (nor does quality.allizom.org), but the old quality-new.stage.mozilla.com still does.

We should get that fixed.
It looks fine to me on the old staging.
