Although this works from navigator window to messenger window it does not work the other way around. This requirement/enhancement was provided by a customer. I have copied and pasted his requirement below.. I usually run Netscape with a Messenger window and 1-5 Navigator windows. Some of these might be showing pages I still want to look at (such as the Java documentation). I know which window I am finished with and want to replace the content with the destination of a link. I often browse a web site with two windows, one showing the news headlines, and the other showing the detailed articles. I drag headlines (i.e. mouse down on a link in a headline, move mouse over the articles window, and release) to the second window. This saves using the back button so often. It also allows two article windows from slow web sites (one that I'm reading, the other is loading).
This is also a problem in Linux.
