running 6.0.1 updates either fail or erase bookmarks and cannot then recover

Steps to reproduce:
running normaly updates set to automatic
Actual results:
I get a message that update cannot be instaled
after two or three atempts message stops appearing and all bookmarks disapear
on trying to recover from a saved copy I get a bookmarks cannot be processed mesage
Expected results:
the only way I have found to recover from this is to compleatly remove and reinstall then i can load bookmarks from stored file

We're sorry that no-one responded when you first filed this. Hopefully it resolved itself somehow. Marking as works for me as we've not heard anything like this recently. If you are still having problems in the latest version of Firefox, please feel free to file a new bug.
