From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.16-3 i686; en-US; 0.7) Gecko/20010119 BuildID: 2001011905 Mozilla just crashes and dies when trying to open the URL http://www.avocent.com. There must be something in the page that is triggering a bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.In the location slip, type http://www.avocent.com and press <ENTER> 2.Mozilla will then crash. 3. Actual Results: Mozilla crashed immediately. Expected Results: It should have showed a web page.
Works for me on Win95 with Build 2001021204 ... perhaps just a Linux thing? Have you tried with a newer build?
loads fine for me, linux build 2001-02-12-08. Could you try a recent nightly? This could well be one of the several crashers fixed since 0.7.
