When updateInfo changes, the URL in the update service will need changing, its currently hardcoded to /versions/updateInfo:

The old URL supported passing in a locale at the end of the string.  The comments at http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc/addons/trunk/site/app/controllers/versions_controller.php?view=markup#l79 don't make me think that's too important, but the new python version doesn't support the locale at all.

So, we'll need to switch this at the same time as removing that %%APP_LOCALE%% or it won't work.
