At least 2 updates can't be uploaded because of this error. The error message is "Received an empty response from the server; status: 500". See attached screenshot.
This is preventing some important add-on updates to be submitted, so we need it fixed as soon as possible. I'll try to get one of the developers to attach a file causing this error.

We're up to 4 reports now, which makes me believe that this is a major regression from yesterday's push. We need this looked at immediately.

I have found the same problem today. My extension is attached.
This is the extension I was not able to upload yesterday due to the same error.

We were having issues with our cluster that runs background tasks like file uploads (bug 688843). It was stabilized within 30 min. Sorry for the inconvenience.
