Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build ID: 20110419192255

Steps to reproduce:

I can't access to mxr , unless access through a proxy . is it possible that my IP range (109.162.222.xx) blocked somehow by mxr.mozilla.org ? ( although I access all other mozilla services ).

Actual results:

hessam@hessam:~$ ping mxr.mozilla.org
PING dm-webtools04.mozilla.org (63.245.208.205) 56(84) bytes of data.

--- dm-webtools04.mozilla.org ping statistics ---
194 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 193003m

I don't know what could cause this. I'm not finding any restrictions on dm-webtools04 that would lock you out so completely, such that even ping doesn't work. At the same time, if you can reach other Mozilla properties it seems unlikely to be a networking ACL.

Passing to NetOps for comment.

In the meantime, if you could please comment with your full IP, as well as confirmation as to whether or not you can reach mxr.mozilla.org over HTTP/HTTPS (it's possible that ICMP is blocked at some point, but HTTP may still work). Thanks!

It appears the entirety of our 63.245.208.0/22 (sjc1) netblock is being filtered by this organization:

Our phx1 netblock (63.245.216.0/22) is not filtered, which is why most of our sites are accessible.
Wow!!! Is this something we can contact them about?
I tired to send an email to lct-admin@mail.dci.co.ir but the email address doesn't exist !!
Full contact info for the registered AS. The last contact, Saeed Mahdioun, has a different address of mahdioun@mail.dci.co.ir which may yield better results.

A cursory glance shows the netblock is still being filtered. Has there been any response from the AS contact?
You can re-open if you have further contact from your ISP, but at this time, there's nothing we can do.
