Thanks, Chrissie. Lee attached is the final people content. I've also chosen some more photos that can possibly go on the page. Possible Photo Assets to include on the page: Mozilla Kenya: http://www.flickr.com/photos/66564707@N06/6150554311/in/pool-1787005@N22 Arabic Mozilla meetup: http://www.flickr.com/photos/66564707@N06/6150540123/in/pool-1787005@N22/ Arabic Mozilla: http://www.flickr.com/photos/66564707@N06/6150540179/in/pool-1787005@N22/ Mozilla Thailand: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gen/5197898052/in/pool-1787005@N22/ Mozilla Indonesia: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gen/5706022515/in/pool-1787005@N22/ (Caption: Firefox 4 launch with the Mozilla community in Bandung, Indonesia.) hi lee - apologies but is there any way we can remove the headings for the individual communities?
Hi Shannon, Here's a new mockup of the People page. I tried to place more photos/more people on the page per your request. I don't remember if we decided to take the video out of this page or not, but let me know if you think it's a bit odd pushed way down at the bottom of the page. http://cl.ly/323q1W1X1u3H0Q3L300g

Thanks, Lee! This looks awesome and really feels like we are showing people with more of the photos included. I still like the video where it is and would like to include it. One change: At the bottom, in the page nav it still says "conclusion" but should now say "ahead." My only other concern is that Mozilla Indonesia is pictured twice while Mozilla Hispano is not pictured at all. Let me check in with Mary, but if it is a problem I can find a same vertical photo of Mozilla Hispano and swap that with the second Moz Indonesia photo on the page (I think it fits with the content also since we have the Mozilla Hispano photo right above.)

Hi Lee - I ran this past Mary to make sure having two Mozilla Indonesia photos were not bad. There are two changes: In the first photo, one of the guys looks like he is picking his nose, and it would be nice if we could swap out this one with a Mozilla Hispano photo. Sourcing that right now (that is about the same size, shape) and will post that in the bug. The second change is that there are 11 countries in Mozilla Hispano, not 13. Apologies for the change on this one as this originally came from the contributor engagement team who just changed it. Also, one last thing, I am looking into attribution for these photos. I think most of them are licensed by creative commons sharealike which I believe says you can use them with attribution. I'll keep you posted but working on these items is my priority right now.

Okay - No worries on the attribution, but we do need a new photo for the large nosepicker. Lee - do you have any other options from the ones that I sent you? Otherwise I can source another.
There are a couple that may work OK in that spot. I like that picture of the Indonesian group, but I understand the reaction around the nose-picking. (maybe he was just *scratching* his nose?) There's a Mozilla Balkans photo you linked to in the bug. It has good energy, but it's hard to crop well, without the wine glasses on the table being highly noticeable (good/bad?) If we need to keep this hero image international, maybe Firefox 4 launch in Indonesia will work? http://cl.ly/3x1i3C0K2n1N2V3t3R43 If we don't mind going local / US, than maybe the Engagement Team JUMP could work? http://www.flickr.com/photos/63073634@N07/5999862156/in/pool-1787005@N22/

Hmm... I really like the engagement one, but there is nothing distinctly "Mozilla" about it. WDYT? There are also some ones that Mary sent. Do you think any of these would work? If not, the Indonesia party one is okay. Senegal event (although dates back to May): http://www.flickr.com/photos/nd1mbee/5677906366/sizes/m/in/set-72157626625438860/ Brazil meetup (taken in Sep): http://www.flickr.com/photos/28959625@N04/6119911773/sizes/m/in/photostream/ Tunisia event (taken in Aug): http://mozilla-tunisia.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/team-libertyday.jpg Colombia: http://www.flickr.com/photos/62646177@N02/5727931021/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/62646177@N02/5702133071/

I tried out several new pics in that slot, but I think the Brazil Meetup is my fave: http://intothefuzz.com/leetom/Mozilla%20Annual%20Report/PNG/3_stateofmozilla_people.png

(In reply to Stephen Desroches from comment #15) > People pages is up and ready for review: > https://www-dev.allizom.org/en-US/foundation/annualreport/2010/people/ Shannon & Melissa, Can you take a look and sign-off on any edits that need to be made, so we can proceed to l10n asap.

Thanks, Chrissie. All of the content looks good. However, the video is wrong. It is supposed to be the contribute video, not the brand video. Also, is there any way to make the video pop out? Steven expressed some concerns about the "share" and "embed" buttons for the video, so would love to talk through those issues. I think those buttons are very important but need to prioritize around L10N and launching on time.

Also, > is there any way to make the video pop out? Is this video on videos.mozilla.org yet? Also, by "pop out", do you mean draw attention to it visually, or open up in a window or lightbox when you click on it?

Also - the caption on the video is wrong. This is what it currently says Mitchel Backer, Chair discusses The state of Mozilla. (Mitchell's name is spelled wrong) The caption on Lee Tom's design is the right one.

This video is here: http://www.mozilla.org/contribute/ I assume this means its hosted yes? I can find out from IT if you are unsure. Yes, lightbox - thanks for clarifying ;) Is that possible?

I've filed a separate bug for the Share/Embed buttons: Bug 690422 - please take a look and comment there. I didn't realize this was an existing video - we'll get it swapped in and the caption fixed.

This page is set except for the video (and video download links). We'll get those updated tomorrow AM: http://www-dev.allizom.org/en-US/foundation/annualreport/2010/ Also, yes, we can setup a lightbox for the videos - we'll do this tomorrow (shouldn't slow us down - we have the code setup for other pages).

Hi folks - I received a last-minute request to add this link to the word "KUMI" in the paragraph about Mozilla Indonesia. http://bit.ly/aD3nMy (It is a link to where people can download the paper toy and learn how to fold it themselves) If its not too late, can we add the link? Please note: this is a P3, if its easy and not too much trouble would be a nice to have, but no need for extra revs on this one. Looking to Steven/Pascal/Chrissie to let me know how much extra churn (if any) this would cause. Thanks!
