Carving this project up by page to expedite: *Shannon to add final copy for this page (09-28-11) *Lee Tom to add final visual assets for this page (09-28-11) *Steven & Stephen to cut to code as soon as Shannon gives the "Go!" *Raymond to QA

Hi Lee - Attached is the content for the opportunities page. I think the photos are great but it would be awesome if we could add cations and attribution in the following way: First photo: The billboard one - I think you pulled this photo from John's website so would the credit be John Slater? Second Photo: Caption: Celebrating Firefox Photo credit: Nithin Emmanuel Third Photo: ReMo Work Week in Paris Photo credit: Viking Karwur Fourth Photo: (same caption) Photo credit: Tristan Nitot

Just talked to Melissa and we are going to go without photo credit for now, since we told folks we would send them swag - not credit their photos. no worries on this front :) We are all good to go on the design page!
Assigning to Steven! It's go-time here. Steven, after ou've got this page sliced up, can you update the bug with a note to Pascal to take the HTML and go to l10n for this page. Note: l10n can happen separately from QA, we got the go from Stas.

Hi Chrissie - There is no design yet here. Just content. Still need the designs from Lee. Also, we talked about a pull quote on the page and I think this sums up the key messages nicely. Can we use this one as a pull quote? "Mozilla is unique in that we build Firefox to provide an independent offering focused solely on individual experience and the overall good of the Web."
Hi Shannon, Here's a new mockup with revised copy flowed in. Let me know what you think: http://cl.ly/1U2t322t3K3X041E0e2U

Thanks, Lee! Can we fix the pull quote so there are not so many hypened words? Also, this still feels a bit text heavy and there are two return to tops. Is there any way we can create like maybe two links at the top. (under the state of moz heading of course) One that takes you to opportunities and challenges and the other that takes you to "Improving Web capabilities" Not sure if this is possible but that feel like it might break up the page a little bit. Let me know if you would rather talk through.
Hey Shannon, I can certainly try to smooth out the hyphenated words in the pull-quote. I put the Return to Top links at the end of the major sections (this is consistent with all the other pages.) I think adding a sub-navigation might be a bit confusing to the user, and open several considerations for us to implement correctly. If there were say, 5 sub-sections this may be something to explore, but seems excessive for 2 sub-sections. IE: a user wouldn't necessarily need a link to Opportunities and Challenges (link#1) because they're already at the top of the section.

okay! Not a big deal - just a thought ;) if you can try to smooth out at least two of the hyphenations that would be awesome but one is fine. Thanks!
I was able to eliminate all the hyphens! If there are no more changes, I can post the PSD and PNG soon. http://cl.ly/2f3A082U1P1q0I1h0J1E

Thank you and thanks for pinging Pascal when the HTML is ready, so he can move forward on localization.

hey chrissie/stephen - quick question on how hard/how long it will take to make a change? Under "improving Web capabilities" can we change the order of the headings at all? If this will take a long time - its not a problem. We just want to move WebFWD below the media and education sections. However - i will call this a P3/P4 - not a big deal at all - the ability to localize the content is definitely number one! Also, it password protected so I cannot take look

Hmmm - I think I would rather have the image if its not hard to "undo" Otherwise looks good to go! Checked the links and they are all working as well. Splendid :)

(In reply to Shannon Prior from comment #18) > Hmmm - I think I would rather have the image if its not hard to "undo" Just to clarify, I didn't remove the image (poor choice of words on my part) - I just moved it down to the part of the page so it stayed with WebFWD - I wasn't sure if it was related to WebFWD or not. Should it go back up to the spot roughly where it was on the page (next to the Media section), or stay where it is now (with WebFWD)?

I'm not rolling out these pages because I'm assuming all of the State of Mozilla stuff should go live on Thursday morning instead of this release.

yes, they are on stage now and I will push them to production with Anthony, since the en-US pages use the l10n template, they can be pushed to production on advance with an on/off switch
