Details

I’ve just upgraded to Thunderbird 7, and FoxClocks has been disabled. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxclocks/ Version info says: Works with: Firefox 3.0 - 7.* Thunderbird 3.0 - 6.* SeaMonkey 2.0 - 2.1.* FoxClocks hasn’t been updated by its author since 2011-07-03. Its maxVersion number has been bumped to 7.* for Firefox, but not for Thunderbird. Is that on purpose?
FoxClocks has just been maxVersion-bumped for TB7. A bit too late, though. However, I still wonder why the maxVersion bump doesn’t occur for Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey at the same time?
This sounds similar to bug 675723, the addon should have been caught by the Thunderbird bump but there is no trace of it in the logs.
The automatic compat bumps are different for Firefox and Thunderbird, so they can happen at different times, and an add-on could pass for Firefox and fail for Thunderbird.
