I'm pretty sure we normally ship chemspills off of the default branch of mozilla-release, actually. At least, that's what we did for 6.0.1.

Don't forget that you'll need to do 6.0.2 -> 7.0.1 partials for this release, too :(. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_6.0/BuildNotes#5.0_-.3E_6.0_updates could serve as inspiration for that, and I'm happy to help however I can.
