690298 - Provide a way for mozillians.org to be fed automatically from other projects

One of the ways to keep mozillians.org growing accordingly with the community is to make it possible for other projects like SUMO or Bugzilla to feed Mozillians with data automatically. In particular I have two things on my mind:

1) It should be possible for authenticated projects to tag accounts. When someone makes his first contribution to SUMO it should be easy for SUMO to tag the Mozillian account of the user with tag "sumo_contributor", when Bugzilla recognizes a user submitting his first patch, or getting his first bug resolved/fixed there he should get "patch_contributed" and "fixed_bug" badges and "contributor_%PROJECT%" tag for the project the patch has been contributed to.

2) It should be possible for those projects to also nominate for a contributor's account on mozillians. When a user with account on SUMO starts contributing for the first time, SUMO should submit application for this user to Mozillians.

it seams like phonebook will be constantly out of date if I need to go back an update the phonebook for every different kind of activity that I get involve in.

If I'm testing and filing bugs in bugzilla, doing translations on firefox and verbatim, making code contributions, helping out on marketing and engagement campaigns my contributions should be linked into phonebook in some way.

is this anywhere on the mozillians development roadmap yet?

elmo, the l10n dashboard, is going to have lots of project related metrics to help us run and monitor localization progress, and we really need to tie this to some of the profile information in mozillians to avoid duplication.

Talked with hoosteeno about this, and we like the idea of this feature.

It raises some bigger questions that have been brought up in others bugs: How do we enhance the API for Mozillians? How can external systems and apps push data into Mozillians?

This isn't a priority for this quarter, but we'll take another look at this for Q2 or Q3.
