User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0
Build ID: 20110922153450
Steps to reproduce:
After updating to Firefox 7 I can no longer access my router configuration page.
I type the router IP in the address bar and get an error.
I already tried clearing all the cookies, cache, history, settings, etc and starting Firefox in safe mode but neither of these solutions worked.
Actual results:
After entering the address Firefox automatically returns an error (the error is in Portuguese, this is a loose translation of the message):
The page you are trying to view can not be displayed because an error was detected in the transmission of data.
The page you are trying to view can not be displayed because an error was detected in the transmission of data.
- Please contact the owner of the website for information about the problem.
Expected results:
A login message box should appear and after entering the correct credentials the router configuration page should be displayed. It doesn't even show the login window, the error is thrown immediately after entering the address.
It worked before the update, and I tested it with Internet Explorer 8, Chrome 13 and with Palemoon 6.0.2 and it works on all of these browsers.
FYI the router is a D-Link DVA-G3170i/PT
