Created attachment 563482 [details]
demonstrates the anchor tag not getting disabled in FF

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.2
Build ID: 20110902133214

Steps to reproduce:

Assign a click event to an anchor tag, then set disabled to true in javascript

Actual results:

the click event still fires when the link is clicked on

Expected results:

the click event should not fire, as it does not in IE 8 or 9. It does fire in IE 7 though. I looked for some documentation saying that the anchor tag is supposed to work this way, but couldn't find any, so I think this is a bug
