User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:7.0) Gecko/20110923 Firefox/7.0 SeaMonkey/2.4 Build ID: 20110923012712 Steps to reproduce: ThinkPad Laptop, Logitech Mouse M705, Win XP SP3, SeaMonkey v2.4 and Firefox v7. Actual results: The problem started immediately after the newest versions of Firefox and SeaMonkey installed. SeaMonkey v2.3.x and Firefox 3.6.23 (or was it 4, 5 or 6?) worked fine. These two upgrades during the past 24 hours broke my scrolling down capability on my mouse. Scrolling up still works. Rebooting the computer did not fix the Firefox problem (yesterday). Going into my Mouse software did not fix the problem. I downloaded and isntaled Firefox 3.6.23 and it works again.
Did you try updating the driver for your Logitech mouse?
Yes, I just installed the latest Logitech mouse driver. Then I downloaded the latest SeaMonkey install version, 2.4.1. Problem remains. The mouse scroll button does not work for going down a page but it works for going up a page. The only add-on installed under SeaMonkey is Firefox Sync which is automatically disabled (at least under SeaMonkey 2.3.3, which is working like a charm).
Try turning off mouse acceleration in your Logitech mouse settings.
Does advice in Comment 3 helps you?

Does the mouse work correctly in IE or in Windows in general (like Windows Explorer)?
