User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8) AppleWebKit/535.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/14.0.835.163 Safari/535.1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open http://www.apple.com/ipad/#learn or http://trailers.apple.com 2. Click on a video if it doesn't start automatically. Actual results: HTTP GET is made and the video is downloaded correctly. The Quicktime controls are visible and functional. However, the video doesn't appear. Expected results: Video should be visible.
Confirming that this issue still occurs with 8.0b2 on Mac OS 10.6.8. Some videos actually show some frames but the video still doesn't play properly.
Confirming that this issue still occurs with 8.0b3 on Mac OS 10.6.8
Summary: Firefox 8.0b1 [Mac 10.6] Quicktime videos do not play → Firefox 8.0b [Mac 10.6] Quicktime videos do not play
WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 beta 3 All the videos are starting and playing ok. I have tested this with videos from both links provided in the description. However on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:10.0a1) Gecko/20111017 Firefox/10.0a1 the videos are not playing at all you can hear only the audio of the clips wich seems to be ok. Setting resolution to NEW on Firefox 10

Version: 8 Branch → 10 Branch
This issue is not limited to 10.6. I have the same problem with 8.0b3 on 10.7.2. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0
This issue seems to have resolved in 8.0b5 on Mac 10.6.8. I can view QT videos correctly.
Still WFm on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:9.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0 beta 4 and also on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:11.0a1) Gecko/20111204 Firefox/11.0a1 Considering this and comment5, setting resolution to Resolved WFM.
