User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.2 Build ID: 20110902133214 Steps to reproduce: On reading on some website that the version 7.0.1 is available, I headed to the Help menu > About Firefox > Check for updates. The button says "Check", not "Download". I thought it would check for the update and prompt me to download if one is available. Actual results: It started downloading the update (17 MB) without prompting me any info and without any option to cancel. Expected results: Frequently, I merely want to check if a new version is available, without actually being ready or willing to download it quite then. (I can't care less about the security updates because it's not my work computer. I use it for browsing the Web and testing purposes only.) Therefore, no matter how much important it is for Mozilla to ensure I have the latest version, it's not important for me to update until I'm ready and willing. When I click "Check for update", the browser should present a "Download" button only, without starting the actual big download.
