I just updated https://people.mozilla.com/~dolske/awesome.html to work on trunk, it was previously using the mozOrientation event. On my OS X laptop (~8 month old MBP), the rotation works properly, such that the image stays level with the real world. On my Android device, the image rotates in the wrong direction. Other folks have reported their laptops rotate the wrong way too. I'm not sure which is "correct", but they should at least be consistent!

FWIW, I'm seeing this rotate the wrong way on the latest nightly on my MBP.

I see this wrong on my MBP, "13-inch, Mid 2009" according to "About This Mac"

Also, I'm still on Snow Leopard whereas dolske is on Lion. Maybe that makes a difference.

(In reply to Dave Townsend (:Mossop) from comment #2) > I see this wrong on my MBP, "13-inch, Mid 2009" according to "About This Mac" This is MacBookPro5,5 if you want to be all technical like that. Also on Lion.
