Stephen do you still see this?
I'll go check in the 'old' perf lab's machine right now (I can't get to this
state on a fast machine ;-)
Boo. The Mac that I used to file this bug is DOA, does anybody have a
relatively slow Mac to test on?
Using a PowerMac 9500/150, with today's latest build for Mac OS 8.5, I'm not
able to even get to the state in which I filed the bug against. The busy cursor
event gets fired, so I am forced to wait for the addressing widget to build
before I can hit send. So I am marking this INVALID (it would be rather
WORKSFORME if I could now get to the the state as described above, but since I
am prevented from doing so, this is my resolution.)
