Details

Mac OS X 10.6.8. Camino version 2.0.9 (1.9.0.19 2011091218). I had asked Camino to load the address https://www.societegenerale.com/sites/default/files/documents/Societe_Generale_Document_de_reference_2010.pdf . Too bad ! Camino crashed. Please fix Camino. Thanks. Nicolas
Do you happen to have PDF Browser Plugin 2.4 ? if so, that is a known issue (that version of the pluging is not an won't be compatible with Camino) - the older 2.3 is still available. See http://caminobrowser.org/documentation/setup/#find_plugin If the above is not the case, please provide a crash ID - type 'about:crashes' in the URL bar and copy the appropriate ID 's in this bug.
Note that the plugin crashing is a known issue with Camino 2.0; the plugin won't crash in Camino 2.1. Again, please switch to using Camino 2.1b2 if you are going to continue filing lots of bug; bugs about 2.0.9 are simply not helpful so close to the release of Camino 2.1. If you are unwilling to use a beta version, then please hold off on filing bugs until Camino 2.1 is released.
That bug, by the way, is bug 665385. Only version 2.4.0 will crash; 2.4.1 will simply render blank content (but won't crash).
Summary: Camino crashed when opening a document → Camino crashed when opening a PDF document
Since Nicolas appears to be ignoring comments in the bugs he has filed, I'm just going to assume this is a dup rather than waiting for an answer to comment 1.

Apparently, all PDF documents crash Camino ! Rather violent bug. Indeed, I have the PDF Browser Plugin, 2.4.2. Until things get fixed, how can I disable it just for Camino ? Thanks. Nicolas
If you want to continue to participate in Camino's bug tracker, you need to reply to my email and address the concerns I raised. Until then we're not going to waste any more of our time responding to your comments.
