Steps to reproduce:
1. Make sure that you have a title bar (i.e. show the menu bar)
2. Go to http://french.stackexchange.com/q/120/82
3. See the poor rendering of the narrow non-breaking spaces, after « and before »
Actual results:
The narrow non-breaking spaces are rendered as squares, aka unknown character.
