Requesting a CVS account for jrgm@netscape.com. I am not requesting checkin priveleges for the main tree. I only need the account for checking into QA docs areas, for authenticating with the proxy server at tegu.mozilla.org to run simulated slow connection testing, and to check in some of my stuff to mozilla/tools/*, none of which requires super-review. I have handed the signed Contributor Form to Marcia Knous. I have cc'ed paw, my manager at Netscape, to vouch for me. If I need another voucher for the /tools tree, then perhaps waterson or mcafee can do so (I promise that I will not rewrite nsCOMPtr).
vouch=mcafee
We don't require super-review for the areas to which jrgm wants cvs commit access, so I think he should get it with a voucher (and paw, waterson, me, lots of others can vouch for John! ;-). /be
form hand delivered on 2/16/01. leaf - if you can clarify which switch should be flipped, I can create and activate his account.

his webmonkey and cvsuser bits can be flipped... but was his form hand-delivered by a tall scotsman? As soon as his account is created, i'll add him to the mozilla/tools partition (as is my duty as the partition owner).
Account created and activated 2/19/01. Marking this bug fixed - another satisfied customer!

Reopening since the initial paperwork was filed here, and cc: some potential sr's. Perhaps it's time to up my access level to the core CVS tree. I've been begging for enough checkins recently, that it might be more productive if I just checked some patches in myself. Note: I still don't plan to rewrite nsCOMPtr. These are three recent fixes. bug 142824 - downloads.rdf keeps on growing bug 149777 - Node cloned from external, untrusted document and appended to chrome document. (which is a currently-restricted security bug but the patch was to pageInfo.js) bug 142623 - No reload of Language strings due to XUL FastLoad
Summary: CVS access for jrgm@netscape.com (not for the core tree) → CVS access for jrgm@netscape.com for the core mozilla tree
sr=hyatt
sr=blake, contingent on jrgm agreeing to own download manager and fix its remaining bugs.
Okay. So I guess that's two sr's. ;-) Gee, blake. Didn't you see the glowing praise for download manager in Forbes?
sr=jag What took you?
John: Looks like you have more than enough SRs - you should be all set. closing this bug...
