User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 Build ID: 20110928060149 Steps to reproduce: When I start to enter "https", as soon as I enter the "h" the location bar autocompletes to 127.0.0.1 (which I previously visited) and thus converts my typed "h" into a 1. See attached Screen Capture Actual results: My input was replaced and it was subsequently impossible for me to type "https" into the URL bar. Expected results: User input should not be irreversibly changed.

Although it is for h turning to w, pretty sure this is a duplicate of bug 678352
