From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.18 i686; en-US; 0.8) Gecko/20010214
BuildID: 2001021421
The Bookmarks tab in the sidebar seems to be broken. Right mouse menues are
empty (no functionality to edit, cut ...) and an import of an old bookmarks.html
let's the tab hang while loading the bookmarks. The tab hangs while loading, if
you change anything in the bookmarks tab and rerun mozilla too. This effect can
be found after (!) the daily build 2001012706 (this one is running the right way)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.right mouse click on any bookmarks entry
2.copying bookmarks.html from an old .mozilla setup into a new one (the same
with an original netscape bookmarks.html)
3.change the bookmarks entries and rerun mozilla
Actual Results: 1. empty menues
2. Bookmarks tab hangs while loading
3. (like 2) Bookmarks tab hangs while loading
Expected Results: 1. Opening popup with the bookmarks menue entries
2. load and display the bookmarks
3. save the bookmarks the right way and reload them the next time
Error can be found after build 2001012706. This is the last one which worked
right for me. The error is the same with importing netscape setups and with no
.netscape at startup of mozilla.

mass-verifying claudius' Fixed bugs which haven't changed since 2001.12.31.
if you think this particular bug is not fixed, please make sure of the following
before reopening:
a. retest with a *recent* trunk build.
b. query bugzilla to see if there's an existing, open bug (new, reopened,
assigned) that covers your issue.
c. if this does need to be reopened, make sure there are specific steps to
reproduce (unless already provided and up-to-date).
thanks!
