Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1
Build ID: 20110928134238
Steps to reproduce:
Enable the ietab2 extension
Open a page (e.g. www.bbc.co.uk)
Switch to I.E. render
Select the address in the address bar (displayed as bbc.co.uk/)
Copy (Ctrl+C)
Paste into a notepad.
This used to work correctly prior to FF7. I have tried with both values for browser.urlbar.trimURLs .
Actual results:
Text pasted as:
chrome://ietab2/content/reloaded.html?url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/
Expected results:
Text pasted as:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/

Ben -> Have you contacted the author of ietab2?
When did this stop working?

I have not contacted the ietab2 author as this was working up until firefox 7 upgrade. To be honest it may have been 7.0.1 - I can't tell. I do not believe that the ietab2 plugin has changed recently. But the location bar in ff certainly has.

By the way - I did report it to ietab development, but haven't had any response there.
