you need to log in on the site its a paid service for personel vehicles tracing. I haven't contacted the site owner yet. The problem started when I updated from Firefox 6 to 7
> I haven't contacted the site owner yet. You should do that and refer to this bug. > The problem started when I updated from Firefox 6 to 7 There were no big changes in SVG support. Bad browser sniffing?

(In reply to j.j. from comment #3) > > I haven't contacted the site owner yet. > You should do that and refer to this bug. > > > The problem started when I updated from Firefox 6 to 7 > There were no big changes in SVG support. Bad browser sniffing? Sorry, what's a bad browser sniffing, how should I know if is that the problem?
> what's a bad browser sniffing just a very vague assumption http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Browser_sniffing (If the browser sniffing code doesn't know about Firefox 7 it might detect it as unsupportet) > how should I know if is that the problem? You could the "User Agent Switcher" addon and change the UA string to fake Firefox 6 https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/ Firefox 6 UA string is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6 But that's probably not worth doing at this point. More important is verifying this bug on other computers.

Once bug 692506's fix makes it into mozilla-central, it'd be great if Giuseppe could test the nightly builds before/after that checkin, to see if that patch fixes this bug. Giuseppe, once that happens (probably tomorrow or the next day), we can provide you with links to those nightly builds to try out, if you'd be willing to give that a shot.

Bug 692506 landed on Beta 8, probably more convenient to test with that. Daniel, when is the next Beta release with that including? (Where can I track Beta releases?)

(In reply to j.j. from comment #11) > Bug 692506 landed on Beta 8, probably more convenient to test with that. Good point. > Daniel, when is the next Beta release with that including? I'm told in irc.mozilla.org #planning that the next beta-channel rebuild/update will likely be sometime on this coming Monday (PDT). Builds should be appearing at: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/8.0b3-candidates/ (currently "Not Found"; will be populated when builds are generated) Giuseppe, if you're open to trying a beta Firefox build, it'd be great if you could download a Firefox installer from the link above on Monday night or Tuesday morning and give it a spin to see if this is fixed. > (Where can I track Beta releases?) (AFAIK, there's no page that tracks individual beta builds - they're sort of planned on-the-fly -- but you can always ask in #planning, as the people who know these things tend to hang out there. At a higher level, https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases the schedule for release-train-switchovers.)

Giuseppe, please test again with Firefox 7 just to confirm that the page isn't fixed meanwhile. If the page isn't fixed, please download Firefox 8 beta and test with that: http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/channel/ http://www.mozilla.org/en/firefox/channel/ Bug 692506 is fixed in Beta and might or might not have impact here. Thanks!

>Anyone has seen the print of the bug?
yes but that is just a JS alert that the page generated for unknown reasons.
The question is why is it showing that alert ?
