User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 Build ID: 20110928134238 Steps to reproduce: Pressed ALT to display the menu bar. Clicked any menu item such as HELP. Actual results: The menu appears for a very brief moment and either totally disappears or "vaporizes" leaving just an outline of the drop down box. If I move the mouse to another menu bar item the problem goes away, and then I can move the pointer back to the desired menu bar item. Expected results: Clicking on the menu bar item should result in a fully displayed drop down menu. FYI, I am experiencing similar issues with right clicking of bookmarks though the behavior is not consistent.
Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Please post the graphics section from about:support
The issue does go away when starting in Safe Mode. Interestingly, I restarted the browser twice after the Safe Mode test, and the issue is no longer occurring. It appears to have vanished. When I started in Safe Mode, I did not make any of the disabled items permanent, so I assume all add-ons were re-enabled upon the restart of the browser. Oh well. Life of technology.
I'll close this for now, but if it comes back (and you can reproduce in Safe Mode) feel free to post back and we can re-open
