Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:10.0a1) Gecko/20111009 Firefox/10.0a1 ID:20111009031012 repro: 1. start a new message gmail 2. type some text and drag an image into the textframe (make sure the image isn't to big, say < 200 kb) 3. repeat 2 some 15 times result: a lot of repainting/ image reloading after a while you're kicked of gmail with a message from google that they have detected excessive traffic from you and you may be able to try again in an hour or so. They also note that it may be the browser causing it. (I guess they prefer you to use chrome) My guess this is some core html5 bug, but don't know where it belongs nominating for FF10, but if this occurs in <10 too I'd say it wuld need the fix aswell.
Adding qawanted and regressionwindow-wanted keywords to find out when this started occurring and whether this can occur with only a couple of images added the message - if not, we should still fix, but we won't track. Please re-nominate if it does happen before ~15 times.
This appears to have been fixed. I tried with 15 images and no reloading/repainting
