This is a feature request. I often have difficulty tapping on small links on web pages when they are close together. This happens often with pages that have "1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | next page"-style navigation. I often have to zoom in multiple times before the links are big enough that I can feel confident that I won't hit the wrong one. This is annoying. I think a nice feature would be to detect that the user has tapped on a region with multiple links. In this case, rather than picking the nearest one (I assume this is what happens now), Fennec would pop up a bubble with a zoomed-in version of the region. Then the user could click on the desired choice. Alon suggested I should file a bug on this to see what people think. I don't know what sort of input Fennec gets about taps, so some feedback would be useful. Is it just a single coordinate, or is it some sort of heatmap of where pressure was applied? In either case it sounds like it would be possible to make an add-on to do something like this for experimentation.

Opera Mobile 11 for Android has this feature, and I think it is a good one.

seems similar to bug 663803
Going to dupe this and move the other over to Native Fennec
