From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; N; PPC; en-US; 0.8) Gecko/20010215 BuildID: 2001021508 No matching plugin to access this popular Yahoo site. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Go to http://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.intl=us&.src=ga&.done=http://games.yahoo.com/games/login%3fgame=Bridge Type in username (mozill2001) and password (testing) Select any lounge from the Yahoo Bridge screen A new window opens with the message "Click here to get plugin" Clicking on the message opens a window at Netscape.net for plugin downloads The window says that there are 0 matching plugins Actual Results: With no idea what plugin is needed and no help from the Netscape site, it seems impossible to access this site. Expected Results: This site works fine with Communicator 4.7. I'm not sure whether the problem is with Mozilla or with the Netscape site but in any case, neither Mozilla 0.7 or 0.8 can access this Yahoo site in their current form Doing the same steps with Mozilla 0.7 leads to a dialogue box stating that the "plugin downloader plugin" is needed. However, I have been unable to find anything with such a name on the Netscape site

The plugin you're looking for is Java 2. Please read the release notes at http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla0.8/ for instructions how to install this plugin.

Marking worksforme because you filed bug 69352 which indicates that you managed to install Java. Please reopen if this is still a problem.

On Mac OS9 we pick up the MRJ java plugin. I've never had any problems with this.

On mac OS, you need the MRJ (macintosh runtime for java..get the latest version from developer.apple.com). The MRJ plugin works with it. Marking verified
