Details

I've got quite big bookmarks tree in Internet Explorer, and in Mozilla's Imported IE Favorites tree I can see there are only three levels of favorites' hierarchy. For example, in original favorites I've got Net->Linux->Net->Clients subfolder, but in Mozilla I can see only Imported IE Favorites->Net->Linux folder, and in the Linux folder only the top level bookmarks, no subfolders.

Stephan care to elaborate? While it is likely it is not obvious that this bug is a dupe. I am suspect of the repeated folder title in the hierarchy (Net...Net) that the reporter mentions but I don't quite see the dupe...

No, sorry, it probably is really a dupe of 53152... I had an entry whose filename was: "Linux Directory - Search the Linux sites! Software, HOWTO, drivers, hardware, laptops, newbie, palm etc..url" Parsing/enumerating directory listing stopped at this file (order of entries on the disk considered). The subdirs were at he end of that dir's listing... Marking back as dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 53152 ***

vrfy dupe of bug 53152 filenames containing '..' or ending w/ '.' stop the directory enumerator (can affect imported IE favorites)
