Once the rest of the 70 r4 minis are imaged and in production, the original 10 need to be taken out of production, reimaged, and have their dongles replaced.

Actually, they don't. All of these machines have the same base install and the only thing done to them was to run puppet (repeatedly). They are OK to stay in production as is.

John then I would like to swap out the dongles on these machines with the less hacked together ones that I had made in a hurry for you. Can we schedule a time to do that ASAP.

Ok, morphing bug to reflect this. I dont know which machines have which dongles anymore, please post a list of machines that have the makeshift dongles to this bug.
Summary: reimage 10 original r4 minis → replace makeshift dongles with permanent dongles
075, 079, 009, 007, 005, 003, 010, 008, 006, 004
Because it's important for the test machines to be exactly alike, these 10 machines will be reimaged because they were not done with deploy studio.
Summary: replace makeshift dongles with permanent dongles → reimage 10 original r4 minis
As you wish. As these machines are all in production please coordinate a time with buildduty. Buildduty will need to disable 001-010, 075 and 079 in slavealloc as well being gracefully shutdown in buildbot. Once the dongles are installed the machines can be re-enabled in slavealloc and rebooted.
Summary: reimage 10 original r4 minis → reimage 10 original r4 minis and fix original 10 dongles
Reimaged and redongled 007 tonight as it threw a nagios error about not getting to buildbot. Had Dustin check to make sure it wasn't running any jobs and performed tasks asked for.
What is the status here? I assume that these haven't been reimaged yet. Should we schedule a time to turn these off and reimage these?
They have not been reimaged because we haven't had anyone in the datacenter recently except to work on higher priority items (getting the 10.7 testers up). Our consultant is starting this week, so we will be targeting this week or next to reimage the first 10 10.6 minis and replace their dongles.
great, thanks for the update.
Let's schedule it at the same time that we image the remaining 70 r4 10.7 minis. I assume you can disable them in advance of that time?
Yes, but would prefer to minimize amount of time we spend with these machines offline. The 10.7 machines are higher priority
Talked with jhford about this in IRC today. We will schedule these remaining machines to be taken out of the pool on Thursday and be reimaged and redongled.
arr did the reimaging today and I replaced the dongles on all of them. Having jhford verify.
Over to John to verify and close
