The header will contain a simpler top-level navigation that supports the user's mental model of our applications.

This list CSS is consistent with the product dropdown seen in the header of the recently redesigned addons page.

This list of products is provisional. I need to hear which ones should be in here. Perhaps FX Home belongs here.

The categories under the firefox support on the left will be filled in by the taxonomist. Until we have better ones, let's use only Desktop and Mobile.
Wrong mock. The list SHOULDN'T contain Fx Mobile.

Couple of questions and comments about the mockup:
* It says Firefox Support, which is a change from Firefox Help. I like that since the URL is SUPPORT.m.c. My question is what will is say on the Home page? Right now it says, Need help with Firefox?
* The search bar is the old style.
* Is that the new location of the main search bar on the home page or is that mockup based on an article page?
*Category 1, Category 2, etc. Those should be Topics (just clarifying).

Can we add Sync to that?
Let's leave the home page as "Need help with Firefox." It's conversational. We'll be changing soon with the home page redesign anyway.

Search bar style isn't changing. It's a screenshot of the modded AMO, so some design elements were unintentionally pulled over.

Category1, 2, etc represent topic levels, yes.

Sync is a hard one. It's a distinctly different granularity. Mixing granularities is bad mojo. Desktop and mobile are platforms. Sync is a ...? What is sync? You can make an argument that it's a platform or a feature. In any case, it's not a platform for sure.

I think we can deal with Sync in better ways. I need some help knowing what challenges you were solving when you put it in the nav bar. Let's move this discussion to Monday's roundtable?

Sounds good to me.

Hi Folks:

Thanks to Crystal for CCing me (CC:ingrebron from Thunderbird marketing).

Re-opening because we need to remove Sunbird. Sunbird is no longer being supported or developed as far as I know.

from http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/
"This is the last public Sunbird release by the Calendar Project.
We recommend upgrading to Thunderbird 5 and Lightning 1.0 beta5."

Therefore please remove Sunbird from "Other Applications"
