As discussed in $BUG, we'd like about:sync-progress to change the text blurb based on the type of setup, or if the tab is being opened from something other than the wizard (such as session restore).

This would be based on the value of the pref services.sync.firstSync (accessible from the xhtml as Weave.Svc.Prefs.set("firstSync");)

Proposed strings (talk to UX to determine exact strings):

Connected A New account: firstSync=newAccount "Your Sync Account has been created and Sync is uploading for the first time. You can close this tab and keep using Firefox". We will probably also want to prompt them to Add Device here as well.

Connected An Existing account: firstSync=existingAccount the current text is probably sufficient. We may not want to prompt them to add device here?

Opened from something other than the wizard: firstSync should not exist. "Sync is set up and operates periodically. You can close this tab and continue using Firefox."

Suggestion: "and works automatically in the background as you browse".
This bug only likely affects Sync 1.1, and it was shut down in the fall of 2015 (https://blog.mozilla.org/services/2015/07/31/shutting-down-the-legacy-sync-service/).
