Steps to reproduce:
I minimized Firefox with 3 tabs open and then attempted to maximize it again to open a new tab.
Actual results:
Firefox froze my whole computer for a while and then finally started to work, after I had closed almost every other program in the background.
Expected results:
It should have just opened and let me open a new tab with minimal to no freezing.

I also had pages, text edit, and yahoo messenger running in the background when I tried to open it.
Have you tried to reproduce this issue using the latest Firefox?
