Details

Logging inot sites having flash objects go black
used Firefox version ("newest" is to imprecise) , used flash plugin version, example URL, screenshot ? Do you already tried http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode ? Please do so if not. This will disable all extension and the graphic hardware acceleration as long as you are in the safemode.
Please do a search for 'black' and have a look at the issues... https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=black&list_id=12391767 Firefox has a serious rendering issue.

Closing this as resolved:incomplete, Windows Vista is no longer supported.
