fwiw can't reproduce this at all, using a tinderbox-build from today 20111108040346 http://hg.mozilla.org/projects/birch/rev/df8c264a45d9 Samsung Nexus S (2.3.6)
Resolved as WFM: I cannot reproduce this crash either on Nightly Birch on Thrive
