User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/5.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0) Steps to reproduce: I was downloading a video using a youtube downloader plugin and firefox was crashing and I restarted a cuple of times, finally I could download the file with a few crash-report-restart cycles Actual results: and now I open firefox without problems but if I touch anything BUM chash and I can't do anything :S It's like a BIG FAT BUG Expected results: firefox shouldn't get a crash every time I click on an element (even if I click the firefox menu)
"safe" mode didn't solve the problem, can't about:crashes can't type anything on the address bar... but is there any way to see it on user data folder?

Please try a new profile: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing%20profiles You are crashing in random places. Could it be that you have a hardware problem ?
nope, I want the problem to be fixed because it is a mayor bug, someone else could have the same issue, It's not random, there should be a source of the bug, It happens every time I interact with an element of the browser UI, there should be a corrupted file... let me know if you need me to do something to help
>It's not random It's in random places of the code, look at the stacktraces. >I want the problem to be fixed Firefox works for million of our users and there is not much what we can do if we don't find the reason for the crash and the crash reports doesn't help much. >there should be a corrupted file that's why I suggested a new profile and i got no answer if you have tried that. You could also try it in the windows safemode or a complete reinstall
deleted all the user config files in local and roaming and... same issue... reinstalled and worked, placed my previus profile files on local and reaming and still worked, so it was a corrupted file...
You could file a bug to Microsoft for its NTFS :)
